Get a comprehensive understanding of food and nutrition, including its science, role in health and disease, and issues across the lifespan in different cultural and religious groups. Study nutrition science and you’ll explore the role of food in broader society and consider issues related to food sustainability and production, food policy and food regulation. You’ll also examine methods for assessing food composition, nutrient requirements and dietary intake – and obtain real skills to design and develop a new food product. Your study will set the stage for a fulfilling career with significant growth potential, with nutrition linked closely to national health priorities in Australia and overseas.
